Companies Will Empower Clients with Affordable Efficiency Monitoring

October 09, 2020

LOS ANGELES – October 9, 2020 – Emily Grene announced today the acquisition of Twisted Pair Automation. The two companies will collaborate to accelerate Emily Grene’s mission to reduce energy output and increase energy efficiencies for industrial and commercial clients.

As part of this acquisition, Emily Grene now holds two of the three DENT certifications awarded to businesses in the United States. These certifications mark a key milestone in Emily Grene’s journey to power and optimize national retailers nationwide through submetering, commercial automation, and HVAC automation.

“Acquiring Twisted Pair Automation is a moment of monumental growth for Emily Grene,” said Emily Grene President & Chief Executive Officer Burke Ewers. “This acquisition will enable us to provide smarter, greener solutions for our clients in the industrial and commercial sectors.”

The ISO standard (DENT Regulation) 9001:2015 certification involved a three-tier inspection of all of work, including Emily Grene’s meeting or exceeding the requirements and expectations of its customers; continuously monitoring, measuring, and improving upon customer satisfaction; and continuous monitoring, measuring, and improving upon its own performance in the sector.

With the acquisition of Twisted Pair Automation, Emily Grene has named a new director to oversee the building automation and optimization division of the company, EG Automation.

Brian Marini, former CEO of Twisted Pair Automation, will serve as the director of EG Automation. In this role, Marini will report to Emily Grene’s Senior Vice President Mark Cram and integrate the operations of Emily Grene’s automation, control, HVAC, and electrical services for commercial and industrial customers nationwide. Marini joined Emily Grene in 2020 and has held a series of leadership roles in automation.

As Director of Automation, Marini will work directly with engineering and construction teams to design and implement automation systems. Marini has worked in all aspects of the construction environment, understands project flow, and works with all trades. Marini works primarily with BACnet and MODBUS systems.

Following the acquisition of Twisted Pair Automation on June 11, 2020, Emily Grene has expanded the capabilities of its industrial and commercial portfolio, enabling the company to combine all of their clients’ energy automation and optimization projects, including submetering, lighting automation and control, and HVAC, together into one homogenous system on a single user interface.
